    Hi Noah,

Greenlight! - with a few observations: I think your matte painting could and should be more properly ambitious in terms of set-extension. I think all that blue sky is a bit of cop-out and really, the matte painting should be communicating the scale of your world: this might be an issue of POV; if we were lower in the scene - at a more human scale - we would get a greater sense of the city extending backwards into the distance. I think too you could use the matte painting to express the scale of the city in terms of variance of structures, as actually, this looks more like a small American town - were there to be taller/bigger architecture in the matte painting, we might get the impression that we arriving at the edge of something much more epic and sprawling. I think it's a shame we're looking at such an interesting bit of road? Is there anything you can do to ensure we're focusing instead on what it less generic in the scene? Again, a change of POV might mean we were focusing on the buildings as opposed to the floor plane.

Nice production art page - but I think you could and should tidy your orthographs still further - consider using Illustrator to clean everything up so they're truly technical and production ready drawings. There's a lot of charm to your world, Noah - you'll need to fight to translate that in Maya terms - it will be worth it :) Onwards!
